As in any growing church, people need to connect with others in order to feel that they belong to and are cared for by the church. At Bagley Swamp we are convinced that life is best lived out in community. The more you allow yourself to be a part, the more you’ll get out of it.

A Life Group is basically a group of people meeting together regularly for the purpose of ‘doing life together’. A Bible study may happen, but the real focus of a Life Group is the relationships that are developed among the members of the group.

At Bagley Swamp, we feel that you have not truly experienced the church as described in the New Testament until you have gotten connected in a Life Group! What is a life group? The short answer is that a life group is a gathering of people designed to provide community and help us become more like Jesus through study, service, learning and just hanging out.

“Gods of War" by Kyle Idleman

ALL CHRISTIANS WANT TO IDENTIFY and eradicate their sin. We struggle and battle, but we make little progress. What if we’ve been missing the point? What if all sin has a common root; a core issue that we’re failing to address? In this 6-part video series, bestselling author and pastor Kyle Idleman reveals the true source of your sins - idolatry. While there aren’t many “graven images” in our world today, there are still countless gods viciously at war for the throne of your heart. Through six compelling testimonies, learn to overcome the gods of love, money, pleasure, power and ultimately yourself. These stories will help you recognize misplaced worship in your own life and point the way to victory.
